Making a Difference

Education

Achieving our mission of "making disciples that make a difference" required creating our own system of schools. At present we have over 22 schools of which all but the school at the Borel Campus are on our church owned properties. Most of our schools in the mountains are held in the church buildings or in rooms attached to the side of the churches. Most of these mountain schools only go up to the 6th grade level. Our three largest schools have enrollments often exceeding 400-500 students.

At our newest facility at Frecyneau, a neighborhood at the edge of St. Marc, we are developing a technical school to go along with the nursing school that was started in 2010. Future plans for this site will see a Bible Training Institute and a language school for English, Creole and French. The five year old Conference and Training Center at the Borel Campus sees lots of activity from PH-H and partnering organizations who need a large facility to hold meetings and training seminars.
